Board-Certified
Licensed Mental Health Counselor

I respect the journey you’ve traveled to get to my office. It’s probably been a hard road.

Working with survivors of trauma, including the trauma from child abuse, rape, sexual assault, domestic violence and other crimes, I’ve helped people overcome unspeakable atrocities.

But so many things can throw us into overwhelm. Divorce. Betrayal from friends. Grief. Trauma doesn’t look the same for every person.

The common lie my clients tell themselves is, “It’s not that bad, other people have it worse.” You’re not other people, and if your life is being impacted by heavy emotions you’re carrying, you’re allowed to get help.

Everything that happens to you, matters.

It’s important for someone to be in your corner - not to judge you, or tell you what to do, but to truly listen to you and guide you as you heal.

Approach to Therapy

I provide psychotherapy to people of all genders, ages 17 and older. I take a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to therapy, focusing on your strengths, so we can build on what’s already been successful in your life. You know your journey better than anyone. I’ll help identify the obstacles getting in your way, and together we’ll figure out how to get rid of them and live beyond the difficult moments.
